About the Vidyalaya

Established
in 1971, Kendriya Vidyalaya
AFS Digaru is situated in the
premises of 51 ASP Air Force
Station Digaru, Sonapur. The
school moved to its present
site on 4th Nov 1973. The School
has two section up to Class X
and Science stream is available
for classes XI & XII. The
School comes under Defence Sector.
AFS Digaru is fast becoming
a premier institute imparting
quality education to children
of defence personnel and other
transferable central government
employees. The results in the
Board examinations have been
steadily improving over the
last few years.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan
has recognized the school as
a model for other schools to
emulate.
